Construction Lending Advisors is an independent construction consulting firm that provides comprehensive construction loan management and reporting services to financial institutions.

Our firm brings together years of general contractor field experience with extensive practice in construction consulting to assist in the management of construction loans. Joy Smith, a graduate of Texas A&M University ’s Construction Science program, founded the company to fulfill the needs of financial institutions in regard to real estate and construction lending.

Prior to founding Construction Lending Advisors, Joy worked for a national construction consulting firm where she provided services for lenders and other real estate clientele including construction cost analysis reviews, construction document reviews, regular site inspections of commercial and residential projects, and monthly construction progress reports including funding disbursement recommendations.

Joy has brought to Construction Lending Advisors, Matthew Smith, also a graduate of Texas A&M University ’s Construction Science program. Matthew’s work experience prior to joining Construction Lending Advisors included Project Management for Commercial Construction companies performing work for private and governmental clientele in the United States and Internationally.

Project experience includes commercial office buildings, warehouses, restaurants, multi-family, retail centers, healthcare facilities, and land developments throughout the United States .
